LCI Law's Greek litigation team has secured another important victory for an EU‑based insurer before the Greek Supreme Court (“Areios Pagos”) in a non‑marine insurance dispute.
The Court confirmed that fraudulent non‑disclosure of material risks at the pre‑contractual stage fully releases insurers from any obligation to indemnify and reaffirmed that breaches of mandatory policy conditions and non‑covered commercial acts validly exclude coverage. As a result, our insurer client had no liability to indemnify.
Handled by partners George Iatridis and George Pezodromos of LCI Law’s Greek litigation practice, insurance and reinsurance disputes being at the core of our practice.
